SUMMARY

As a Graphic Designer at BDS, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts, communicating ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our clients and partners. You will use your skills to develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, web front end, presentations, social media content, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

​

1. Create visual concepts using computer software (Adobe CC) to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate clients and partners.

2. Develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, web front end, presentations, social media content, etc.

3. Work with Founder & Product Director (Belen), marketing managers and other designers to develop creative solutions to complex design problems.

4. Use feedback from clients to improve designs and make changes as necessary.

5. Select colors, images, and typography to enhance each design and create a cohesive look and feel.

6. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.

7. Present designs to clients and internal teams, and explain the rationale behind each design decision.

8. Meet with clients or management to discuss design projects and goals.

9. Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in design software and techniques.

10. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines and budgets.

Job Requirements:

​

1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field.

2. Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role.

3. Strong portfolio of previous design work.

4. Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.

7. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

8. Knowledge of printing processes, typography, and color theory.

9. Understanding of digital design principles and user experience (UX) design.

10. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
